more thrifting

i've purchased too many things from the thrift store that i can't keep track anymore.
recently saw this little leather bag for $2.99 at my fave goodwill store. maybe it was a camera or binocular bag but i instantly fell in love with it! it reminds me of the cool bags at the Fossil store.  not much change to it except that i added an orange leather flower.

This week: Tiered Storage

The Goodwill thrift store people recognize me! I am on a tight crafting budget so I have to really use my imagination. I am currently obsessed with tiered storage to store small craft punches and rubber stamps.  Spent a total of $5.25 on everything and then got my industrial glue and white spray paint. Overall, I'm happy with the result.

My vintage suitcase obsession

found this beauty at the goodwill store for $2.99.  it was in ok condition and it smelled like it had a pretty exciting life.  i hope it traveled far with some cool owner. not sure what i will do with it, but for now it will serve as a jewelry display. it may change depending on my mood!

Summer Craft Projects

Lots of craft experimenting going on!
Lace on Metal bangles

Feather and Lace headbands. love the prairie look!
Paper Flower Lights. I cut the petals, used a crimper and punched them thru Christmas lights. this is hanging in my living room above the sliding glass door.
Driftwood sailboat and canvas.  We rode our bikes to the beach and collected a bunch of driftwood
Mini composition books from the dollar tree! covered with craft paper. great size for your purse in case you need to take notes.
Hungry after all that crafting. My first year growing a garden and I have TONS of tomatoes and basil. The result is bruschetta every night!

My Pegboard has been featured!

so excited that my crafty pegboard is being featured today on one of my favorite websites http://craftystorage.blogspot.com/

I have since added a little shelf to hold the paper punches!
